Why not to say ‘that’s so OCD’

This OCD Awareness Week, remember it is harmful when people say 'that’s so OCD'. OCD is not quirky perfectionism. OCD is real suffering. People are not 'a bit OCD' just because they like a tidy kitchen, and such talk is damaging, whereas awareness is a huge support.

Walk North Oxfordshire with The Rotary Club

Oxford North Rotary Club invites you to raise funds for Restore by joining them on a fun charity walk. Choose from two circular routes of 4 or 2.5 miles. Walkers will register at 9.30 and walks begin at 10.30. Both routes start from The Red Lion, Northmoor, OX29 5SX.

What happened to mark 10th Anniversary of ORC?

A week-long programme of activities marked Oxfordshire Recovery College's 10th birthday. Different events - from tea parties to zentangling - celebrated the hard work and passion of so many people.

Upcoming celebrations: 10 years of Oxfordshire Recovery College

Oxfordshire Recovery College began in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, now offering free courses on over 60 topics in mental health, all co produced and informed by lived experience. Last year the college delivered over 300 courses across Oxfordshire with over 3000 student attendances. Feedback shared shows how many people's lives have changed for the better after attending courses and finding renewed hope and confidence to go forward.
