Updated Garden Cafe Opening Hours

From 29th September 2025 the Garden Cafe will be operating from Tuesday to Friday each week. Opening between 10am and 3pm, with hot food 12pm to 2pm. (Closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday.)

The Garden Cafe is a lovely tranquil space just off the Cowley Road, it has a gorgeous garden, and serves refreshments, cakes and lunches hot and cold.

The Garden Cafe is one of Restore’s ‘recovery groups’, meaning that many people working in the cafe are doing so as part of their recovery from ill health, whilst other members of the team are recovery workers supporting them.

The Garden Cafe helps people to regain confidence, develop new skills – in catering, customer service, and retail – and take steps forward with their well-being and recovery.

Outside, the beautiful cafe gardens are maintained by another Restore recovery group called ‘The Beehive‘, which is also based at Manzil Way.

To run a combined cafe and recovery group is demanding, so it is important to make time for therapeutic and cafe planning and preparation. As such, opening times have been revised to allow Mondays for administrative and preparatory activities, and reducing the risk of unexpected closures.
