LEADERSHIP TEAM

Beth Hendry - CEO
Beth has experience from a range of health and social care settings, having been a mental health nurse, recovery advocate, and senior system leader. Her leadership focuses on embedding lived experience, championing co-production, and tackling health inequalities. She is committed to workforce wellbeing, inclusive communities, and sustainable change - ensuring that everyone has opportunity to recover and thrive.

Charlotte Watmough - Director of Service Delivery & Development (Deputy CEO)
Charlotte joined Restore in 2018 following a 20 year career in care and support. Starting in learning disabilities and then working in homelessness, she has also spent time working for Portsmouth Mind. Charlotte oversees the effective delivery of recovery and coaching services, including quality and innovation.

Sean Garden - Head of Finance and Administration
Sean is an accomplished senior leader with over 30 years extensive experience across finance, operations, and organisational leadership in the charity, intergovernmental, and private sectors. Sean is also active within his community and is a local parish Councillor.

Stephanie Hess - Head of Oxfordshire Recovery College
Stephanie leads the smooth day-to day running of the College, supervising the team, ensuring student well-being, strategic planning and policies to take the College forward. She is always interested to discuss the College and meet those keen in being a student or tutor.

Matt Jerwood - Head of Fundraising and Communications
Matt leads income and engagement (encompassing fundraising, comms and external training). He has 25 years' experience of strategy, digital, partnerships and marketing. Matt previously worked at Oxfam and Tommy's, was a trustee for Oxford Samaritans, and spent many years in dot-coms, travel and media.

Garima Naagar (Dr.) - Head of HR, Volunteering & Training
Garima is purpose driven leader with 15 years of experience across strategic HR, organisational development, and inclusion, grounded in a strong background in mental health therapeutic support. Garima leads a team driving strategic people management and an inclusive, values-led culture.

Lee Gray - Vice Chair of Trustees
Lee has over 20 years experience leading charities. She ran an award-winning non-profit in the USA, supported several African charities, consulted across the UK, and is CEO of local dementia charity, Daybreak. Her experience blends marketing, development, finance, and programme management.

Neil Warriner - Trustee
Neil brings to Restore considerable experience as a Tax Partner, with particular experience in real estate and energy sectors, where he advised clients on direct and indirect tax. He joined Restore as a Trustee in 2023.

Rose Rolle-Rowan - Trustee
Rose is a HR professional with a background of working in Organisational Development and Transformation. She brings over ten years' prior experience as a Trustee of another thriving Oxfordshire charity. Rose has an in depth understanding of how inequalities affect outcomes in life and a strong commitment to tackling this issue in her work. (Joined the board in 2025).

Callum Evans - Trustee
Callum is a construction industry Project Manager and qualified Quantity Surveyor. His experience lies in leading cross-functional teams, delivering projects to timescales and within budget, driving profitability, cost control and resource allocation. He joined the board in 2024.

Amber Fremaux - Trustee
Amber brings a wealth of experience from her work at Ofcom as a Graduate Policy Associate and her degree in Psychology from the University of Bath, which included a placement year at The Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. She joined the board in 2025 following a successful year on Restore's Young Trustee Programme.

Melinda Setanoians - Trustee
Melinda has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, working across the NHS, the third sector, and the pharmaceutical industry. Her career has been dedicated to advancing care in mental health, addictions, and neurology, bringing a breadth of expertise and a passion for improving outcomes for individuals and communities alike. (Joined the board in 2025.)

Ben Lanes - Trustee
Ben has over 30 years experience in social care working with people with learning disabilities and autism. He has led charities as well as working for local authority, NHS and other not for profit organisations. (Joined the board in 2025.)

Joanne Lee - Trustee
Jo qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1996 and after working in mental health services in the NHS, she moved to Global Mental Health; working with charities, UN agencies and governments in over 30 countries worldwide, supporting the development of mental health policies, training, services and humanitarian response, mostly in low and middle-income countries. (Joined the board in 2025.)

Nick Hanson-James - Trustee
Nick has extensive international experience in academia and the international relations and development sectors. He joined the NHS seven years ago, specialising in mental health, learning disabilities and neurodivergence. He is currently employed by the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board. (Joined the board in 2025.)

Kate Riddle - Trustee
Kate trained as a nurse and had a wide range of leadership and operational roles within the NHS. She now focuses on coaching mentoring and leadership development work within the NHS. She worked as the Lead Trustee for Safeguarding with a local charity prior to joining Restore in November 2025.

Peter Agulnik - President and Co-Founder
Peter is a retired NHS Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist who has lived and worked in Oxfordshire for 50 years. As a consultant with special interest in Rehabilitation and Counselling, he became involved in many innovative community projects, including founding Restore.

Monty Panesar - Patron
Monty Panesar is a former England cricketer renowned for exceptional spin bowling. Panesar rose to prominence through his performances for Northants before making his England debut in 2006 and winning The Ashes in 2009. Monty is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness.
Jeremy Irons - Patron
Jeremy Irons is an acclaimed English actor known for his versatile roles in film, television, and theatre. He won an Academy Award for Reversal of Fortune and is celebrated for performances in The Lion King, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and numerous Shakespearean productions.
Sophie Grigson - Patron
Sophie Grigson is a renowned English cookery writer and television presenter. Known for her accessible and flavorful recipes, she has authored numerous cookbooks and hosted popular cooking shows, making her a beloved figure in the culinary world.

Emily Maguire - Patron
Emily Maguire is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician known for her soulful voice and insightful lyrics. With several acclaimed albums, she blends folk, pop, and classical influences, and is also an advocate for mental health awareness, drawing on her own experiences in her work.
