19/09/2025What happened to mark 10th Anniversary of ORC?
A week-long programme of activities marked Oxfordshire Recovery College‘s 10th birthday. Different events – from tea parties to zentangling – celebrated the hard work and passion of so many people.
The activities also helped to share ORC with others in the community, and a brand new video about the college was unveiled!

Over 80 people attended the Big Tea Party at Elder Stubbs Allotments where Oxfordshire Recovery College began. There was lots of cake, chatting with friends old and new, and wonderful live music from Amelia.

Guests made ‘self care bags’, browsed the exhibition of memories, and admired the all-new ORC collaborative mural. The mural was created in a giant doodling workshop – led by artists Miranda and Louisa – where lots of student doodles were combined to make a fantastic woodland landscape (pictured).

Also part of ORC 10 celebrations, the Library of Life 25 event showcased video stories created by students about surviving tough times. Some storytellers spoke about how they made their films. Explore the library of films to find inspiration that there is always hope, whatever the current difficulties.
