Become an MHFAider® and learn how to identify, understand, and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue
MHFAiders® learn essential practical skills to spot signs, symptoms, and triggers, along with the latest understandings of mental health conditions.
The MHFA course also equips learners with enhanced interpersonal skills via the ALGEE principles of active and non-judgmental listening.
This is not about teaching people to think of themselves as therapists: Mental Health First Aid is about listening, reassuring, and responding to a person in distress - and potentially averting a crisis.
- Accredited and industry-leading qualification (Royal Society for Public Health Level 3)
- Supports staff wellbeing and retention
- Learn about effective signposting and support
- Reduce ill health at work and be part of de-stigmatising mental health
Restore delivers MHFA training in person over two full days or online over four half days.
