12/05/2025Mental Health Awareness Week – it’s OK to ask for help.
Mental Health Awareness Week offers a unique opportunity to talk and raise awareness. The thing is – everyone has mental health: it is our thoughts and feelings, our emotional well-being.
Anyone can experience periods of good and poor mental health throughout life, with or without a diagnosis. Some people may be currently coping well, others may be struggling.

Mental ill health is not about the aches and pains of the body, but of the mind. At Restore, we know that recovery is possible. Finding hope and a sense of direction helps, and Restore can help with that.
So, as Mental Health Awareness Week commences, with its theme of community, this email today is just to say Restore is a part of a community of support – along with many other partners.
It is OK to ask for help during times of poor health. Help is available to support recovery and improved well-being. If you or someone you know is experiencing mental health difficulties visit Get Support or explore the Signposting pages.
Just know that you’re not alone.
