Recovery groups, coaching and learning opportunities
GROUPS, COACHING & COURSES
If someone has been experiencing mental ill health they can be referred-to, or can self-refer themselves, to Restore.
At Restore individuals can attend a recovery group each week to gain new skills, confidence and empathise with others. At Restore people can attend a coaching programme for support setting and working towards goals, such as employment. At Restore people can join courses that support recovery. At Restore help is free.
Groups are located across Oxfordshire. Helping people to develop skills, confidence and connections.
'Members' typically visit one day per week for a maximum of two years. Individuals engage in structured programmes of arts, crafts, cooking, gardening, woodwork and customer services.
One-to-one coaches work with individuals to identify future goals, such as employment, training and volunteering.
Coaches support people in both tailored and practical ways. Such as discussing goals, creating steps to achieve them, developing a wellbeing plan, creating a CV and offering interview practice.
Education through shared experiences and peer discussions to support better mental health.
Short courses delivered by experts through training and experts through lived experience. Available to the whole community - carers, friends, family and those with personal experience - to learn about and better-manage mental health.
