Members of Restore Garden Cafe recovery group have recently completed their Level 2 Food Safety Qualifications, building the skills and knowledge to create safe and nutritious food to serve to local customers.
This Local Mental Health Resources Guide has been created by Restore to help individuals, employers, and community members find the support they need in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
With Mental Health Awareness Week just around the corner (12th May), Restore is offering a few items that may help: free local resources guide, free downloadable poster on how to be a supportive colleague, and £100 off a mental health short talk, perfect for raising awareness during the week.
Support is vital in ensuring that Restore can continue to provide mental health support for those struggling in Oxfordshire. Here are some ways to give support.
With an extremely heavy heart Trustees take the decision to close one of Restore’s six mental health recovery services, The Orchard in Banbury, on 5th June 2025. All other Restore services will remain unaffected.
A huge thank you to all who have supported recently, here are a few highlights: from London Marathon, to local jazz, donated machinery, yoga kindness, University College donation, Oxford Brookes Choir and Orchestra, and not to mention Heavy Horses and Easter Egg Hunts - thank you
Spring term has now finished and what a busy term it was with courses running almost everyday either online or in person. Our 6 week Drawing for Wellbeing course was another huge success with some great feedback from all who attended it, we look forward to welcoming Tom back again in the near future to run another great art course. Our new course Structure and Routine for Positive Change was incredibly popular and we are looking forward to taking this course out to all in person venues during the Summer term. The new online course Menopause and Mental Health was also a great success and will run again next term in the evening.
