Upcoming celebrations: 10 years of Oxfordshire Recovery College
20/06/2025Celebrating Restore’s volunteers
Volunteers are a driving force, working across many areas at Restore; from therapeutic groups, to employment coaching, to the Oxfordshire Recovery College, and across the back office activities too. Over 8,600 hours were given last year alone, playing an essential role in delivering Restore’s mission to support mental health recovery. A few examples are below, plus there’s a local festival to share too! |
Restore is fortunate to welcome many corporate partners and individuals. Most recently, local companies Montala and Equans were welcomed to the Beehive project. Volunteers pruned bushes, turned over compost bins, and revamped the courtyard, creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for Restore’s members to continue to enjoy. These spaces are more than just gardens; they are therapeutic environments where members can connect with nature and feel a sense of calm and pride. |
Restore also has amazing individuals who give their time to support various office projects; assisting with fundraising, training, finance and events. |
Volunteering can be a great way to develop skills, meet people, and make a difference. |
If you’re interested, Restore will be at FloFest (Florence Park, OX4) on 21st June. Volunteers are needed and welcome. Click below to express interest. |
