Seasonal Appeal: Transform Lives, Support Recovery
16/12/2024Looking Back on 2024: Connection, Achievement & Progress
As 2025 begins, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and thank you for being part of the journey. 2024 was a year of connection, achievement, and progress.
Together, Restore and its supporters have helped hundreds of people with their mental health recovery, trained thousands, and positively impacted thousands more in the community.
Thank you for a remarkable year of achievement:
- 462 members supported with 7,500 recovery session attendances
- 176 coached members with 39% supported into work
- 3,000 course attendances at Oxfordshire Recovery College
- 867 people trained in Mental Health First Aid and awareness courses
- 113 volunteers gave a remarkable 8,600 hours of their time
The past year brought connection and aspiration, highlighting the power of partnership. Support came in many forms: monthly donors provided stability, 350 people got sweaty or noisy to raise funds, and 5,000 attended the Dorchester Festival. Dozens of companies and community groups partnered for training, events and activities, while ex-England cricket legend Monty Panesar became a patron, joining sporty fundraisers.
As we look to 2025, we’re filled with hope: for those facing mental health challenges, for a more compassionate community, and that together, we will continue to make a difference.
