27/11/2018£4,312.70 raised for our Didcot Fleet Meadow Recovery Group from the Co-op!
The Co-op Group stores at Didcot and Benson have raised an incredible £4,312.70 over the course of the year from November 2017 to November 2018.
They did this by contributing 1% of their customers’ spend on Co-op own brand products to Restore and two other local charities chosen by their members. They also added a percentage of the two stores’ sales of carrier bags to this fund, making a grand total of £4,312.70 to Restore to help fund the redevelopment of our Fleet Meadow recovery centre at Sandringham Road, Didcot.
We are immensely grateful to the Co-op Group and to our supporters who nominated us for this invaluable source of income over the last year. Please always think of us if you hear of grants and funding schemes provided to local charities by businesses in our area.
It really does help us. Keep your eyes and ears peeled on our behalf and let us know. We will do the legwork of setting up the funding partnership, following up on any leads that you provide to us.
