Waitrose Headington made generous Christmas donations to Restore and two other Oxford charities as part of their Community Matters Scheme. The scheme asks customers to post tokens for the charity of their choice and shares the money accordingly. In December the store shared £3,000 between the three charities.
Deputy Store Manager Mark Gibaut presented Gemma Humphrey from Restore with a cheque for an impressive £1,193.72 on Sunday 17th February. This will help Restore to support more people with mental health problems recover and get work through our Beehive recovery group which enables people to gain skills in teamwork, gardening, woodwork and crafts. Thank you Waitrose staff and customers!
