20/03/2020COVID-19 – Announcement from Management Team
Restore sees these uncertain times as an opportunity to review our service, and in the next few weeks we will be working in different ways to provide support to our members.
Due to Government advice face-to-face meetings are no longer possible at the moment, but our total commitment to provide a continuing service is!
So, we will be supporting members remotely. Our first step will be to provide a daily telephone call to our members on the days they would usually physically attend our services.
Moving forward we hope to expand and offer group meetings online using Google Chat or conference calls. There will be weekly updates, and, as time progresses, we hope to provide other support by way of reading groups, singing, cooking, etc. remotely. We will constantly be reviewing and updating what we can offer.
Our Recovery Groups will continue to be staffed unless we are ordered to lock down or we are unable to open a Recovery Group due to underlying health concerns. Unless you are a member of our staff we ask that you do not visit the offices in person due to government guidelines. Our project at The Orchard, Banbury is currently closed and staff are working from home.
Oxfordshire Recovery College is producing their first Podcast to maintain connection with their students/tutors/volunteer community – they will send a link to all students when it is available.
Please bear with us during these difficult times, check our website and social media, emails, and text messages for updates.
Thank you.
